There is no Frigate like a Book - Emily Dickinson

Audio Drama

What is audio drama?  Quite simply put it's theater for the mind!

Audio drama, or radio drama as it once was called, is seeing a resurgence in popularity thanks to computers and the internet.  These are not the dramas your grandparents listened to.  The following serialized audio dramas are currently in production and use new sound editing techniques and cutting edge stories.

Audio dramas are a great way to learn English.

Increase your comprehension of English by engaging your whole mind.  Just as books help your reading comprehension so to does listening help your aural comprehension.

By engaging your imagination and creating images as you actively listen, you unlock the most powerful process of your mind.

So, close your eyes, relax and let your imagination transport you to lands far away!

Many of the producers of Audio Dramas do so out of a passion for the genre and on a volunteer basis.  Their Audio Dramas are non commercialized and are available to you free of charge.  They do however need your support.  Please visit their sites and help out as you can.
